Shipping has begun!

Hey y'all —

Just a quick note that I have begun shipping out orders! I expect this process to take at least until the end of the month, but progress should be steady. Here's the view from my laptop where I have the scale and label printer set up:

In other good news, you should have an email from BackerKit with access to the digital images I used in the calendar.  They make great wallpapers!

Speaking of BackerKit, there are still about 25 of you who have not filled out your survey for shipping. Everyone that hasn't filled this out has a message from me via Kickstarter with the private link to your survey if for some reason you haven't gotten an email from BackerKit. To view this, please log in to Kickstarter's website and check your messages there.

I can't believe we're at shipping already. This whole project has been such a joy. Thank you for your support.

A Very Nice Progress Report — And a Reminder

Last week, I took delivery of the calendars. Here, you can see a box (1 of 13) of them next to a whole bunch of packed 4x6 prints:

I'm making good progress on packing. The 4x6 prints and stickers are just about ready, and they'll be mated with calendars in the mailers starting next week. I'll keep you posted as we continue to move toward shipping.

I sent a recent update, but let me leave you with a reminder: if you haven't filled out your BackerKit survey, please check your email for it. 

If you can't find it, please contact me via Kickstarter's messaging system or via email (stephen at hackett.fm) so I can get you a direct link to your survey. As of this writing, I'm missing a few dozen surveys, which means I'm missing a few dozen shipping addresses!

Thank you all who have filled out your Backerkit survey! In looking through the reporting, it seems that most people who used Apple’s new “Hide my Email” feature have not received their survey. Which is … not great on Apple’s part.

If you haven’t received your survey (for any reason!) please drop me a note and I can send you a direct link to it.

On the production side, the calendar is in line at the printer, and I hope to hear from them next week. Meanwhile, we’ve been hard at work packing 4x6 prints and stickers to have them ready to go when calendars show up.

Survey Time & Add-On Items! 📦

Hey everyone —

I'm in the final steps of setting up BackerKit, so surveys will be rolling out shortly. Please ensure your shipping information is correct.

(I had intended to get these out last week, but one of my kids needed his appendix out suddenly, and everything got set aside until that was all resolved.)

If you pledged over a set amount, the survey will let you clarify your intent to add a second calendar, etc. If you want to add other items to your initial order, you'll be able to do that too!

In terms of production, things are humming along. I have the 4x6 prints in my studio, and they look fantastic. Prints and the stickers are steadily being put into envelopes for shipping.

The calendar is finished and is at the printer, waiting in their queue. They should be on the press in the next 10 days or so! I’ll keep everyone posted as to when shipping will start!
